I realized this afternoon that even grown ups play make believe. Usually, they would like to pretend that they're happy, successful, confident, strong. Sometimes too, they pretend that they're okay.
The difference between kids and adults who make believe is how it hits them when playtime is over. Kids, they stay happy and they look forward to another playtime. Adults, reality gets back at them with all its might, making them wish they didn't pretend in the first place.
This is one of many times I wish I'm just a kid.
